The University Network of the Institute for Jewish Ideas and Ideals sponsored an essay contest on the general theme of Orthodoxy and Spirituality. The three winners are: Gail (Gila) Heller of Brandeis University, "Feminism, Orthodoxy and Spirituality;" Noah Leavitt, Bernard Revel Graduate School and Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, "The Ethical Impulse in Kabbalah;" and Baruch Pelta, Touro College South, "Judaism: To Thine Own Self Be True!" The Institute is pleased to publish the winning essays on our website.
